example:
我吃了飯，但是沒吃完 Wǒ chīle fàn, dànshì méi chī wán - I ate but didn't finish
我學了中文，但是沒學會 Wǒ xuéle zhōngwén, dànshì méi xuéhuì - I learned Chinese, but I still didn't understand
我看了書，但是沒看完 Wǒ kànle shū, dànshì méi kàn wán - I read the book but didn't finish it
我找了工作，但是沒找到 Wǒ zhǎole gōngzuò, dànshì méi zhǎodào - I looked for a job but couldn't find it
