Rti Congratulates Alian FM96.3 on its 7th Year Anniversary

On this special day, Radio Taiwan International enters in partnership with Alian96.3 Aboriginal Radio Station which began its launching on August 9th, 2017.  It is Taiwan's first indigenous radio station as the main body, On this anniversary celebration, it attracted many distinguished guests, hosts and listeners to attend the grand event and witnessed this important milestone.

During the Taiwan celebration event, Alian Aboriginal Radio Station and Rti signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) .  Lai Xiuru, Chairwoman of the Radio Taiwan International, and Maraos, Chairman of the original literary association, served as witnesses. This cooperation will be carried out through Rti Radio Taiwan 20 International services in multiple languages to ​​allow the beautiful voices of Taiwan’s indigenous people to spread around the world. Rti immediately put the agreement into action and dispatched a team of foreign language hosts to conduct a live broadcast, allowing Rti's international listeners to participate in Alian's Taiwan celebration. The original association stated that this cooperation project can expand the voices of Taiwan’s indigenous people to the Pacific and the world. The Alian Radio Station also officially announced a co-production program with the Ministry of National Defense and Voice of Han Broadcasting Network. It is the first humanistic radio program in Taiwan to use aboriginal military personnel as the protagonists to discuss how the tribesmen protect their tribes and the country. It has become the highlights and centerpiece of Taiwan celebration activities.

The goal of the establishment of Alian Radio Station is to safeguard the media access rights and cultural voice rights of indigenous peoples, and to become a platform for indigenous peoples to speak. By deepening the self-confidence and integration of ethnic groups, promoting the public services and emergency rescue needs of tribes, promoting the tourism, leisure and industrial development of indigenous tribes, and cultivating communication talents, Alian Radio Station is committed to ensuring the independent information transmission capabilities of indigenous tribes. 

At the Alian Radio Station celebration event, nearly 60 domestic public and private radio and television media operators served as distinguished guests to congratulate Alian FM96.3, including Educational Radio, Fuxing Radio, Taipei Radio, Fisheries Radio, Police Radio, Lecturer Radio, and Taiwan Broadcasting Station. Radio stations, Heart Music Radio, ICRT, Good News Network, Taiwanese and Hakka stations of the public broadcasting group and the Aboriginal Peoples Committee send their sincere blessings to Alian’s 7th Anniversary as well as the partnership with Rti.

More than 50 loyal listeners from all over the country participated in the carefully arranged listening party, which made the atmosphere lively. The wonderful performances of two Golden Melody Award winners Biung Wang Hongen and ABOA brought the event to a climax. This celebration is not only a review and celebration of the past seven years, but also a look forward to the future. All the hosts of the original radio station also gathered together to thank listeners for their support over the years. It is precisely because of the love and care of the listeners that the original radio station can communicate with familiar languages ​​and cultures to increase the influence of the program and the listening rate and to promote mutual trust and respect among ethnic groups.

Alian96.3 Aboriginal Radio Station will continue to uphold its original intention and work with Radio Taiwan Internation and other partners to let the beautiful voices of Taiwan’s Aboriginal people spread around the world.
